About Anna Ignatenko Garcia
Founding attorney Anna Ignatenko Garcia has an extensive experience of more than 11 years representing clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), immigration courts, U.S. consulates and embassies abroad, Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. She is licensed to practice U.S. immigration law nation-wide in any of the 50 states and abroad and admitted to the Kentucky Bar. Since 2017 she has also served as an attorney advisor for the Consulate General of Guatemala, in San Francisco, California providing immigration-related legal advice to the Guatemalan citizens. She speaks English, Russian, and Spanish languages.
Attorney Ignatenko Garcia has worked on a variety of immigration matters, including asylum, removal defense, bond hearings, family-based immigration cases, immigrant and non-immigrant visas, waivers of inadmissibility, naturalization and medical waivers, TPS, U-visas, T-visas, VAWA-based self-petitions and others. She also assists other attorneys on a contract basis with drafting briefs, motions, waivers of inadmissibility and making special appearances in asylum offices, USCIS interviews and immigration hearings on their behalf.

Anna Ignatenko Garcia is a first generation U.S. immigrant and a native of Kazakhstan, a former Soviet Union Republic. She has become a naturalized citizen of the United States. Like many immigrants, she came to the United States searching for the American Dream when she was just a teenager. Her journey to the United States began when she became one of the finalists of the Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. She then continued her journey to a summa cum laude baccalaureate degree in Business Administration in two different institutions: American University in Central Asia and University of Pikeville. Attorney Ignatenko Garcia received her Doctor of Law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law and has studied abroad under a prestigious LLM Program in Private International Legal Practice at Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain. Prior to establishing her own legal practice in 2015, Attorney Ignatenko Garcia has previously practiced in two high volume fast-paced immigration law firms of Ahmad Law Office, PLLC and Salgado & Associates, P.A.
